The body features an embossed hunting scene. The spout has a Sykes style mechanism, originally billed as "flameproof." This functional replica is the perfect accessories for any muzzleloader.
The adjustable spout measures in drams. Drams? What are they? - Well, in "old'n" days gunpowder was often measured in drams. There were 16 ounces in a pound and 16 drams in an ounce. Thus, each dram is equal to about 27.3 grains of blackpowder. So what?
